WEEK 3: SCRIPT (ROUGH DRAFT)

WEEK 3: BEAT-BOARD

1. Patchy, the masked killer, stands outside a lit cabin holding an axe.

2. He fumbles with it and drops it

3. Jane, a young camp counselor, stands inside the lit cabin cooking dinner

4. She has headphones connected to her walkman on the counter

5. She starts to dance and sing along to her tape, using the spoon as a mic.

6. Patchy enters the cabin, attempting to sneak up behind her.

7. He accidentally knocks into a flower pot by the door

8. It falls off the table and crashes on the floor.

9. He freezes, but Jane can’t hear.

10. He begins approaching her from behind again.

11. He gets close and raises his axe

12. He begins to lunge

13. Jane, while dancing, accidentally knocks her walkman off the counter

14. She bends down to pick it up

15. Patchy lunges at the same time.

16. He launches his axe into the wall

17. Jane stands up face near the axe and screams

18. Patchy struggles to yank his axe free

19. Jane hits him with the frying pan on the stove and runs

20. Patchy gets his axe and starts to run after her.

21. Jane runs through the woods

22. She weaves through trees and jumps over logs

23. Patchy tries to do the same but falls face first

24. Jane keeps running but is faced with a giant cliff/ravine

25. She hides behind a tree

26. Patchy catches up, out of breath

27. He looks around but doesn't see Jane

28. He looks over the edge of the cliff/ravine/hole

29. Jane jumps out yelling “boo”

30. She wacks him with a branch

31. Patchy gets scared and loses his balance

32. He falls over the edge

33. Jane sprints away

34. Patchy’s hand grabs over the edge

35. He falls again

36. The end
